Mr. Arman Hussain received his B.Sc. Engineering Degree from the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME), BUET in 2011 followed by M.Sc. Engineering. He began his service in the department of NCE, BUET as an Assistant Instrument Engineer in June, 2013. He was appointed as Lecturer at the same department in 2014 and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2016. Before his appointment in BUET, he served as an engineer in McDonald Steel Building Products Limited, the pioneer company of pre-fabricated structural steel construction in Bangladesh.
Mr. Hussain’s research interests include ferroelectric materials; multiferroics; electronic and energy materials/devices; nanomaterials for energy and water; and high strength ceramics. His teaching covers computer application to Metallurgy and Materials, surface engineering of materials, dielectric ceramics, advanced characterization and Nanoceramics. Mr. Hussain’s consulting activities primarily focus on the development of optimization-based analytic solutions in various ceramic industries.Education:
