Wahidur Rahman Sajal

Wahidur Rahman Sajal is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Nanomaterials and Ceramic Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned his B.Sc. in Materials and Metallurgical Engineering from BUET with honors in 2018, followed by an M.Sc. in Engineering from the same department in 2022. Sajal’s professional journey began in 2019 when he joined the Bangladesh Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (BCSIR) as a Research Fellow. Then, he was appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET) in July 2019. He was promoted to Assistant Professor at KUET in 2022, where he supervised 20 undergraduate students. In October 2024, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at BUET, where he continues to advance his research in the areas of nanostructured materials, materials simulation, materials recycling, and energy materials.
